“Act-Up Boy.” Digital Print. “Picturing AIDS: 1986-1996.” The Center. San Francisco. This image was the main image that was used to announce the exhibition and was used on the exhibition card. The image is a video grab from a 1992 Act-Up demonstration.

This image was created specifically for the exhibition and was used as the image for the postcard that announced the public program for the World AIDS Day event that was hosted by the Center. Another postcard using the Act-up Boy screaming was used to the exhibition announcement.

August 11, 2007. The image is of a comet that was on my Yahoo News Page the evening that my father died. I was making the Buffalo video at the time and had just finished showing “City of the Future.”
